Hey Crusaders! It’s been quite some time since I’ve updated you on the happenings of Cardinal Newman’s Drama Club. For those of you who haven’t heard, we’re pleased to announce our Spring Musical: Little Women! This timeless tale originally written by Louisa May Alcott has been adapted for the theater and we’re ecstatic to put on a performance for you all! If you don’t know the plot line of the novel/movie, Little Women centers around the life of Jo March, a young, ambitious woman in the late 1800s who yearns to publish her literature despite the hardships women were facing at the time. The story focuses on the lives of the March sisters (Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy), their mother Marmee, their childhood friend Laurie, and the challenges they encounter as they grow older and learn to push through difficulties to find happiness in their lives amidst a plethora of changes. It will inspire, astonish, and delight you and we hope you will come to experience the joy of Little Women

For those interested in seeing our performance, mark April 29th and 30th at 7pm in your calendars! This show will be directed by the brilliant Mrs. Mirabent; senior Zachary Kaufman is our dedicated Stage Manager and sophomore Gracie Angleton is Assistant Stage Manager. Our Student Directors are Iliana Palumbo and Rafi Ascoto. Here is the official cast and crew list for Cardinal Newman’s 2022 Spring Musical, Little Women
