Lucas Hernandez-Trujillo is currently a senior at Cardinal Newman High School. Hernandez is a well-rounded achiever, playing soccer, being a state finalist in cross country, and being a track and field District Champion as well as a 2024 2A 4x800m State Champion in track and field, and he furthers this winning mentality by applying it to his editing and writing. Hernandez also is second-to-none in playing the piano and generously offers his talents for Newman’s Mass Ensemble, as well as serving Newman in a multitude of different forms behind the scenes for the betterment of the Newman community. His many other awe-inspiring achievements, coupled with his primary attributes of discipline, versatility, and dedication, make Hernandez genuinely one of the best editors, if not THE best (in his opinion), that the CN Blue & Gold Newspaper has ever enlisted into its ranks.
