High school prom is a significant event that occurs once every school year typically for
students only in their junior and senior years. Each individual theme chosen creates a memorable experience for all those who go. The suspense that led up to the reveal caused much anticipation and speculation for everyone, with students all taking their best guess on what the new theme would be. The junior class officers usually have the responsibility of choosing the prom theme each year, and the reveal is always highly looked forward to. This year, it was announced that the Cardinal Newman prom theme is Masquerade Ball!!
The Student Government announced the theme at the winter sports week pep rally last Friday. The lights went dark and the student’s excitement built up. Then, all of a sudden, the lights turned on and the theme was announced and the SGA members appeared holding up masks to their faces. Quickly after this, the dance team came out with masks on their faces and performed an amazing dance. Everyone was so excited.
The theme Masquerade Ball is surrounded by the colors gold, black, and white. It is filled with feathers, masks, pearls, and everything gold. This exciting theme allows for tons of fun and mystery! With prom coming up, everyone can not wait to show off their amazing outfits and have an experience they will never forget.
