Crusaders Football Impress Opening Night
It was a fantastic night for the Cardinal Newman Varsity Football team Friday night as they steam rolled past Spanish River High School. The Crusaders scored three touchdowns and a safety before the start of the second quarter making it 23-0.
The Crusaders scored again in the second quarter by a quarterback rushing touchdown making it 30-0.
Chris D’or had an impressive night with a kick-off return touchdown making it 36-0. The half ended 36-14.
The Crusaders delivered a strong performance on opening day. The final score was 49-14.
