Bath and Body Works is known for their variety of scents in candles, soaps, lotions, perfume mists, and fragrance diffusers. From calming lavender and eucalyptus scents to bright floral and fruity scents, there is something there for everyone. So many people love their seasonal scents. If you are one of those people and are wondering which fall scent to purchase for yourself this season, you are in luck! I put their three most popular seasonal scents to the test to see which of them are worth buying and which ones will just give you a headache. The three most popular fall scents this season are Vanilla Romance, Glazed Pumpkin, and Champagne Apple and Honey. Vanilla Romance features notes of fresh cardamom, sweet vanilla, and earthy woods. The highest rating for Vanilla Romance was only a 3 out of 10, and the lowest score was a 1 out of 10. People claimed that it smelled like “raw chemicals” and “melted gummy bears.” Personally, I thought it smelled exactly like the Meet Me in Malibu Bath and Body Works summer scent from about a year ago (which smelled mediocre at best) and did not catch any hint of woods. My rating was a 2.5 out of 10. Overall, it averaged a 1.7 out of 10. Champagne Apple and Honey has a blend of sweet apple, bubbly champagne, and jasmine honey scents. The highest score for Champagne Apple and honey was an 8 out of 10 and lowest was a 3 out of 10. People pointed out that it smelled “the most ‘fall’ out of all of them” but was “more like cherry than apple.” I thought it smelled like a mix of cherry, apple, and the Bath and Body Works Scent, Champagne Toast. My personal rating was a 7 out of 10. If you like sweet, fruity scents, I think it is safe to say that you would enjoy this one. Overall, it averaged a 6.5. Glazed Pumpkin has notes of vanilla glaze, caramel, and pumpkin cream. The highest score for Pumpkin Glaze was a 6 out of 10 and the lowest score was a 1 out of 10. Peoplecomplained that it smelled “more like cinnamon and coconut than pumpkin.” I also missed any pumpkin scent, but I liked the smell of it in general. To me it smelled more like sweet brown sugar. My personal rating was a 6 out of 10. Overall, it averaged a 4. So, in conclusion, if you are wondering which popular Bath and Body Works scent to pick up this fall, Champagne Apple and Honey is the way to go
