This month we asked students at the start of the year, “what class are you most excited about taking this school year?” Here are the intriguing responses from students throughout the school…
Charlie Gusmano (Senior): Latin 1 because its an interesting language.
Katie Kent (Junior): I’m most excited to take AP US Government because I had Ms. Moormann freshman year, and I was excited to have her as a teacher again. Also, history is my favorite subject.
Mike Gusmano (Junior): I’m most looking towards taking theater because I’ve done the club for 2 years, and now I’m getting to experience the class and more behind the scenes.
Amanda Lenz (Senior): I’m excited for Honors Marine because I’ve always had a fascination with aquatic life, especially different species of fish and crustaceans, and I’ve always been interested in aquariums.
Lyla Perry (Sophomore): I can’t wait for chemistry because I really love science, and chemistry goes into depth about it.
Bella Truchan (Junior): I’m excited for Journalism with Ms. Rehner.
Dillon Schneider (Senior): AP Calculus BC
Grace Favole (Senior): This year I’m really looking forward to my AP biology class with Ms. Politiz. Having a teacher who enjoys teaching the subject as much as she does changes the environment of the classroom and makes me feel more confident about what we are learning.
Gabi Salandy (Junior): I’m excited to take anatomy because I think that human beings are the most fascinating thing, and I want to learn about each aspect of them.
Ariana Zaragoza (Senior): Psychology
Izzy Hamila (Junior): I’m excited for environmental science because I’m in regular and my teacher is chill.
Anjolie Boyd (Senior): I’m excited for weightlifting because I can work on my legs and abs!
Victoria Miquel (Sophomore): I am excited for Honors English II because the mythology portion seems very interesting.
Samantha Figueroa (Sophomore): I can’t wait for chemistry because I genuinely enjoy the subject and I really like how Dr. Sinha teaches!
Sophia Perez (Senior): Honors Anatomy is the class I’m most excited about because I like the material and what we learn about!
Julia Veach (Junior): AP Environmental is the class I am most excited about taking due to the fun labs!
Blake Quilleon (Junior): I would say lunch, but since it isn’t an option, AP US Government!
Lucas Hernandez-Trujillo (Senior): I’m excited for English with Mrs. Gibson.
Sienna Rubio (Junior): Honors Marine Science is the class I am most excited for because I get to learn about all the different sea animals and how they are able to live in the ocean.
