This month we asked students, “What is your favorite teaching style”, and here are the responses.
Grace Favole (11): My favorite teaching style is guided notes
Blake Quillon (10): Blake’s favorite teaching style is Mr. Richard’s
Iliana Palumbo (11): She likes guided notes and in-class worksheets
Gabby Miller (12): She like when teachers prepare fun activities and do not lecture the whole class
Gianna DeSanti (12): Her favorite is going outside and doing activities
Jack Vollaro (12): Jack likes when a teacher is dedicated and commanding, but not rude or condescending. As well as a teacher that enjoys teaching.
Lizzy Allega (9): Her favorite is when teachers pay attention to each student and do something to help them individually.
Izzy Hamila (10): Izzy’s favorite teaching style is lectures and when teachers post the slideshows afterward so she can study from them
Riley Gorman (10): Riley’s favorite teaching style is a mix of notes and activities, but occasionally one-on-one help
Nick Wallmeyer (10): He likes anything that is interactive
Lyla Perry (9): Lyla like visual teaching rather than other styles
Lucas Hernandez-Trujillo (11): His favorite teaching style is hand on learning
Sophia Perez (11): Sophia’s favorite teaching style is hands on and being guided through the lesson
Julia Veach (10): Julia likes when teachers use movies that go along with the lesson as an example to showcase and help her understand the material
Cat Eldred (12): My favorite is lecturing
Charlie Gusmano (11): Charlie’s favorite things are activities that are immersive and interactive, and when teachers don’t lecture for 80 minutes
Lilly Budke (12): I like when teachers do hands on learning activities
