Dancing With The Stars is a dance competition where a professional dancer dances with a “star” (a celebrity) and are challenged with learning new dances. The goal is to earn the highest amount of ratings and also improve your dancing skills throughout the show.
The stars were: Xochitl Gomez, Jason Mraz, Ariana Madix, Charity Lawson, Alyson Hannigan, Harry Jowsey, Barry Williams, Lele Pons, and Mauricio Umansky, Mira Sorvino, Adrian Peterson, Tyson Beckford, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Matt Walsh. The judges are: Derek Hough, Carrie Ann, and Bruno Toniloi
Week one was the Premiere Night where all the couples listed are performers and Matt and Koko were eliminated since they had the lowest score.
Week two was Latin Night and Jamie and Alan were eliminated. Xochitl and Val along with Jason and Daniella both scored the highest for that night with their salsa and rumba.
Week three was Motown Night where there was a lot of improvement from Mauricio and Emma going from 12 to 23 as their score with the Foxtrot. However, Tyson and Jenna were eliminated.
Week four was Disney Night where all the dancers dressed in Disney characters and danced to classic Disney music. Adrian and Britt were eliminated but Harry and Rylee had the same score from the judged as them but stayed safe. Xochitl and Val still carry the highest score of 27 with their Paso Doble and danced to Poco Loco from Coco.
Week five was Most Memorable Year Mia and Gleb we’re eliminated with dancing a contemporary. Barry and Peta with their first 10 of the season and are going up the ladder.
Week six was Monster Night was on Halloween and unfortunately Mauricio and Emma were eliminated with dancing the argentine tango and were tied with Barry and Peeta. So far Ariana and Pasha along with Xochitl and Val are the highest scorers.
Week seven was Whitney Houston Night to celebrate her music and there was even a dance off where Alyson and Sasha won against Harry and Rylee and Charity and Artem won against Xochitl and Val but Barry and Peeta were eliminated.
Week eight was A Celebration of Taylor Swift where Harry and Rylee were eliminated dancing the Rumba to august. Xochitl and Val won the dance of dancing to lover and also scored the highest dancing to Paper Rings. Charity and Artem along with Xochitl and Val are close competitors wth both stars trying hard to dance with everything they have each week.
Week nine was the Semifinals and the judges believed everyone danced so amazing that no one was eliminated! the scores were all very close but Alyson and Sasha were falling a little behind with a 25.
Week ten was the Finale where Charlie D’Amelio and Mark Ballas, previous winners, danced one of their jives. Xochitl and Val came in first and second came Jason and Daniella.
