October is that spooky time of year again and you don’t know what to wear! Well here are some inspirational ideas for some Halloween costumes that are traditional and new for this years Halloween:
The new movie Barbie recently came out and if you have blond hair and pink clothes you can dress up as Barbie or even a “Western” Barbie is you buy boots and a cowboy hat. You can even find someone to match your theme and make them be Ken.
If your a fan of Disney princess movies then you and your friends can dress up to be princesses. You can wear a basic shirt and skirt or wear a dress with an accessory to match your character. Some examples are Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel, Moana, Aurora, and more. Just make sure you wear a tiara!
Girls and boys can dress up as different Marvel or DC characters. Some Marvel characters are Spider-man, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Wanda, and Captain America. Some DC options are Batman, Superman (or Supergirl), Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow, Cat woman and more. You can even dress up as villains such as Joker and Harley Quinn if you like the colors green or red and blue.
Another Halloween costume idea for a group of 4 is dressing up like the characters from the Wizard of Oz. Just purchase a blue and white plaid dress with red shoes for Dorthy and the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow can have little accessories to go with their costumes. If your two girls wanting to wear something related to the Wizard of Oz then be Glinda and Elphaba from Wicked! Lastly, some basic costumes to wear if you want to dress up alone are fairies and pirates. This idea even relates to the movie Peter Pan and Wendy which means you can dress up as Tinker Bell as a fairy. Just buy a green shirt and shirt or a dress and make sure to sprinkle some glitter on your fairy wings! The pirates can buy a pirate hat with an eye patch and a hook to go on their arm.
Make sure to dress up on Halloween night and knock on every door to get as much candy as possible because you will have to wait a whole year until Halloween comes around again. Have a great and spooky Halloween!
