Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Review

Let’s start this off by stating, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was a great movie. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture and produced by Marvel Studios, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is about a hidden tribe finally revealing themselves and their secrets. This however causes an issue when an underwater tribe comes out of hiding to fight with them in order to claim a revealing power.

At the beginning of the movie the audience is faced with sadness right away. This is because of the tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. Throughout the movie there were many unexpected twists, turns and surprises that always kept me on my toes. The way the creators introduced a new hidden tribe was amazing on many different levels. Hearing the songs reminded me of sirens, and that’s exactly what they were. I have to say though the wings on the ankles were unexpected, being that it was a weird place to put them. When the mother was killed I was truly heartbroken since the daughter had now lost everyone. Towards the end of the movie, a big twist made for the overall best aspect of the entire film. When it was revealed that T’challa and Nakia had a son, Nakia hid for years after the death of black panther. The name of t’challa son represents Haiti’s Toussaint Louverture, who was the Haitian general and had a part in the Haitian revolution. That was comforting to know that at least she had a nephew alive in her family. The movie also had a plethora of popular actors and actresses like Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Chadwick Boseman and Letitia Wright.

The film also had many great reviews including a 84% on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.2/10 on IMDb and earned over 808 million dollars in the box office. Overall this movie was very good and exciting to watch.
