Is it too early to start celebrating Christmas? 

As we grow closer and closer to one of the most beloved holidays of the year, we can’t help but start hanging up lights, decorating Christmas trees, and listening to holiday music. But, when is considered too early to start celebrating Christmas? 

We all look forward to the holiday season, but it’s important to remember that Christmas actually lasts beyond December 25th. In fact, Christmas Day only marks the beginning of the 12 days of Christmas, lasting up until January 5th. So rather than beginning our celebrations now, we should start our Christmas celebrations closer to the holiday itself, and continue to celebrate beyond Christmas Day. 

Whether you leave Christmas decorations up beyond that day or not, it’s important that we all celebrate in some manner to recognize such an important day in the church. Simply putting up a Christmas tree, hanging up lights, or offering someone a gift are easy ways to acknowledge the Christmas season! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, Crusaders!
