Boys JV Basketball Flourishes This Season

Sophomore Jordan Johnson goes for a lay up against Oxbridge Academy during a regular season game.

The boys junior varsity basketball team went for an impressive 20-0 record this season. They won districts and surprised everyone. They were the underdogs going into the season and not many people expected them to have the success they had. The team chemistry was superb this year and it really gelled the team together.

The JV team beat Oxbridge Academy and King’s Academy on the road and they were big wins for the JV team.

“We had a great season. We went undefeated. We had a lot of talent on the team. We played together and we all got along and had great chemistry,” said Guard Jordan Johnson, sophomore.

There will be multiple players moving up from JV to Varsity due to an outstanding season. There will be at least five senior spots opening up in Varsity next year for some of the JV players to move up too.
