Healthy Choices at Fast Food Places
Everywhere we go we see Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds and “unhealthy” restaurants. People tend to forget about the healthy options there. For something cheap and on the go, these are my two favorite places to stop for a bite.
Dunkin’ Donuts is ranked number one on my list for quick food and coffee. Even if you want to treat yourself to a Cinnamon Bun swirl flavored large coffee, it still only caps out at 200 calories. Number wise, those calories will not drastically change your physique. For me personally, I do a large vanilla with just milk, and that only adds an extra 80 calories to my day!
Food is the biggest concern to most people. At Dunkin, you can treat yourself to several wake up wraps for lunch. They are only 15 carbs a piece!
McDonald’s is known for their burgers and easy sandwiches. Yet people forget to realize how insignificant the calories are. A McDonald’s hamburger contains a healthy dose of 12 grams of protein and is the lowest in calories of all meat patties, at 240 calories and 8 grams of fat. Not bad at all considering that the average calorie intake per day should be around 2,000 calories. A plain burger ranks healthier then their yogurt parfait!
For quick and easy, on the go meals, Dunking Donuts and McDonalds are the best places. As long as you stick to the basics and choose something healthy, you can keep building that dream physique
