AnaSaladbar
The CN Blue & Gold sat down with Junior Anamaria Salazar to discuss one of her favorite talents – singing.
CN Blue & Gold: How long have you been singing for?
Ana: I’ve been singing since I was 3 or 4 years old.
CN Blue & Gold: How long have you been playing piano for?
Ana: Since I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade.
CN Blue & Gold: Why are you so passionate about singing?
Ana: Ever since I was little I really liked music. My brother and I are both very musical. I started to act and dance … and I started liking it.
CN Blue & Gold: What is the song that you were singing and why did you pick that song?
Ana: My brother picked the song because he really wanted to learn it on the piano and he was originally singing it first and then I started singing it and my parents were like “wow that is really good together.” It’s called Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
CN Blue & Gold: Have you ever considered being in a school musical?
Ana: Yes, I will be trying out this year.
